What HPLC does
High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) separates the components of a sample as they move through a column at different rates. By measuring the separated components, the method gives an indication of how much of a sample corresponds to the intended material versus other components.
Reading a purity figure
A purity percentage derived from HPLC reflects the proportion attributed to the main component under the conditions of that method. Because the figure depends on the method, a COA reports the method alongside the result rather than the number in isolation.
What it does and doesn’t tell you
A purity figure describes the sample’s composition as measured; it is not a statement about use or outcome. Evolution Biolabs does not publish purity results that are not supplied for a batch, and does not guarantee a purity figure.

Does a purity figure prove identity?
Not on its own. Identity is typically confirmed by a separate method such as mass spectrometry.
Why is the method reported with the number?
Because the figure only has meaning in the context of how it was measured.
